The performance is markedly better. Its smooth and and just about useable. The problem lies in that DR17 Studio never uses the IGPU (intel UHD 770), barely uses the CPU (i5 ...I recorded in 6k BRAW 12:1 compression. I may not be wording exactly right but Blackmagic greyed out the iso because it is treated so differently between camera companies and it’s difficult to get them all in line with one control system. Clips with speed changes will not decompose (menu item greyed out). Sometimes, I can force conform the clip from the Media Pool, and that will take care of the situation, sometimes when I try to do that, the clip on the timeline turns in to a still frame which is very odd.Apr 4, 2023 · In a previous lesson, I went to the Gallery, and then right-clicked on the image to Grab Still. If the r3d file is part of a compound clip, the raw controls will be disabled. To see if this is the case, park on a clip that has the issue, and on the Edit page, right click the clip on the edit timeline, and see if the "Decompose in place" menu is available. Sometimes, I can force conform the clip from the Media Pool, and that will take care of the situation, sometimes when I try to do that, the clip on the timeline turns in to a still frame which is very odd. I’m not sure which one did it for me cause I saw the change later but you should try: Going to « Workspace » (menu at the top) and select « Reset UI layout ». Update your drivers. Since those aren’t RAW, there’s nothing that’s going to be changing. You can disable them in the Playback Menu and should be able to use the Camera RAW settings, and will see the changes you make. 4.For the clips with filters, I can decompose in place no problem.
